CareerCraft — Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CareerCraft ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a digital resume-building SaaS platform operated in India.

By accessing or using CareerCraft (the "Platform"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

By using CareerCraft, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and updated information
• Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account

CareerCraft is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your credentials.

4. Description of Services

CareerCraft provides digital tools that allow users to:

• Create, edit, and export resumes
• Access premium templates and features
• Use AI-assisted resume improvement tools (if available)

The Platform is provided as a digital service only. No physical goods are delivered.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or unlawful content
• Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Platform
• Interfere with system security or integrity

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of resume content you create
• Any consequences arising from the use of generated resumes

6. AI Disclaimer

If CareerCraft provides AI-generated suggestions:

• AI output is automated and may not always be accurate or complete.
• CareerCraft does not guarantee correctness, suitability, or job outcomes.
• Users must independently review and verify all AI-generated content before use.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Premium features require payment. Payments are processed via Razorpay.

By making a payment, you agree to:

• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize charges for selected plans
• Comply with Razorpay's payment processing terms

Subscription Billing

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
• Cancellation stops future billing only; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Platform — including software, design, templates, branding, logos, and content structure — remain the exclusive property of CareerCraft.

Users retain ownership of the resume content they create. However, by using the Platform, you grant CareerCraft a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.

9. No Employment Guarantee

CareerCraft is a resume-building tool only. We do not:

• Guarantee job placement
• Guarantee interview calls
• Guarantee employment success

Any employment outcome depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CareerCraft shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of employment opportunity
• Data loss caused by user actions
• Business interruption
• Errors in resume content created by users

Our total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 3 months.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misuse payment systems
• Initiate wrongful chargebacks

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect Platform integrity.

12. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement reasonable security safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material updates will be:

• Posted on the Platform
• Reflected via an updated "Last Updated" date

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
